U.N.C.L.E. agents have to pass through Survival School before they can work in the field. For Man From U.N.C.L.E. fanfic writers, unfortunately, there is no such thing. That is why we are here.
This community offers writing help to anyone who needs it.
If you've ever considered writing fanfic but didn't have the heart to do it, now is the time. If you have written something but feel it's not yet good enough to be published, let us have it. If your first language is not English and you are concerned about your grammar, please post your story here! Whether it's a drabble or a novel, we will not laugh at you or patronise you because we have exactly the same problems.
What we would like to do, though, is discuss your work. So you should not be averse to well-meaning criticism. After all, it will help you to become a better writer.
If you’re already an experienced writer but you feel that something is not quite right with your new story or you want a general review, you’re welcome to post it here, too.
It should also be mentioned, that we have members from quite a few corners of the earth. So, if you need to phrase something in, say, French, Italian, German, Norwegian or Russian and want to get it right, this is also the place for you.
And finally, if you have any questions about, say, characterisation, canon vs. fanon, grammar, spelling or anything related to writing fanfic, please ask! There will always be someone who can help and people usually love to discuss these topics.
Everybody is invited to comment on the posted stories, to point out what they like about them or what they feel could be done better. All feedback is welcome. But please keep your comments friendly and polite; it goes without saying that flaming will not be tolerated.
One more thing: We like to think of ourselves as a slash but gen-friendly community, which means anything goes, really. We’re not exactly into het fic, though. So if that’s what floats your boat, please don’t post your story here but just ask for beta help and we’ll find you someone.
